Helen Keller, being vision, hearing challenged,
In life, tough situations she managed,

Got her education through Annie Sullivan,
Making her life meaningful and enliven,

Keller was first deaf, blind graduate,
Had many super qualities as innate,

Communicated through Braille in English, German,
And also French, Greek and Latin,

Thirty nine countries she widely travelled,
And fear of Blind she dispelled,

Met every US President without fail,
Great courage made her freely sail,

She got presidential Medal of Freedom,
Highest honour bestowed for her wisdom,

Lived upto age of eighty seven,
Before leaving for abode of Heaven,

Vikalangula Kalyana Vedika celebrates Keller’s birthday,

JAIPUR BLASTS – 13.05.08

Anti Terrorism Day – 21.05.08
(Sathbhavana Diwas – Rajiv Gandhi’s Death Anniversary)

Prayer is offered for everybody’s well-being,
Terrorists don’t behave like human being,

Mandir on Tuesday, Masjid on Friday,
Terrorists attacks make us worry everyday,

The sacrifice lies in helping everybody,
Selfless service changes mind of anybody,

Everyone is worried for Jaipur brethren,
Let’s all co-operate with much concern,

While sorrow we like to share,
It’s blood we prefer to spare,

Bomb explosion around only creates madness,
Better to realize power of kindness,

What do they achieve killing innocent,
In long-run they lose hundred percent,

Pray Almighty for terrorists’ mind change,
They should become human, full range.

People believe Jesus, Allah or Ram,
True service brings much needed calm.

Use Thrithiya to multiply the Punya,
Shouldn’t be carried away by Maya,

Help somebody selflessly on this day,
Make it a practice for everyday,

Let Akshaya Thrithiya bring many smiles,
And help everyone cross life’s miles.

International Women’s Day – 08.03.08 – Part - 1
.
God created Women as Men’s Shakthi,
Everyone should salute them with Bhakthi,
Successful man has a woman behind,
Tackling problems without axe to grind.

Every woman is embodiment of sacrifice,
We should view them without malice,
Great woman is man’s better half,
She tackles problems on his behalf.

She shows abundant affection on Father,
Cares for Husband relieving his bother,
Sacrifices a lot for the Son,
Expecting radiation of energy like Sun.

She bridges between Parents and In-laws,
Creating and implementing her own laws,
Woman’s sacrifices can never be counted,
On her, problems are being mounted.

Let’s share the burdens that are possible,
To tackle problems as otherwise impossible,
They’re flexible in all the aspect,
Should treat them with due respect.

They are Angels of this Earth,
Showering divine affection without any dearth,
Every woman in herself is a legend,
Writing about her, there is no end. . . . . . . . . .

P.Mohan Ram
.
International Women’s Day – 08.03.08 – Part 2
.
Cowards in Society commit female Foeticide,
Selfish, incapable villains venture girl Infanticide,
This is equivalent to committing suicide,
Very idea itself should be set-aside.

Shouldn’t subject woman for dowry harassment,
Which puts Society into sheer embarrassment,
They certainly deserve very good treatment,
Let’s keep it as firm commitment.

Women have got good intuition power,
Only love and affection they shower,
Although women look like sophisticated software,
They are mentally capable sound hardware.

Dedicating poems to my four Angels,
They’re like pearls from Sea Shells,
First Angel is my Mother Lakshmi,
Who brought-up whole family as Griha-Lakshmi.

Second Angel is my better-half Anusuya,
Supported by Divine daughter Angel Divya,
Next is my grand-daughter Angel Lekha,
Who maps dreams with Swarna Rekha.

Tributes to President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam
to mark his visit to ECIL, Hyderabad, on 29.06.2007

Let’s all put a big Salam,
To our beloved President Abdul Kalam,

Started first earning as sincere paper-boy,
Detached attitude considered Presidentship as toy,

He was responsible for launching satellites,
His fame goes beyond all satellites,

His heart pulsates many poetic creations,
His brain vibrates with many innovations,

Bhagwat-Gita he liked much like Quran,
On religious teachings he is always on,

He sets example for unmatched dedication,
He never hastens for any provocation,

Hew defined what is hard work,
Taught lessons for who hardly works,

Science or Politics he’s always straight-forward,
Dreams for India’s many leaps forward,

Started first project with Hover Craft,
Went on to steer Satellite Craft,

Any Project failures, never hides head,
Victories never go to his head,

Every person in his life’s ladder,
Always remembers gratefully without any shudder,

Abdul Kalam is very great Legend,
Writing about him there’s no end . . . . . .

MY SALUTE TO ALL MOTHERS

God created mothers, representing Him everywhere,
Her unfathomable kindness can reach anywhere,
Mother fully embodies love and affection,
Wants her children to achieve perfection,

Mother gives life, risking her own,
Under any circumstances, never to disown,
Mother adds values to our life,
Shouldn't forget her after getting wife,

Take care of mothers of old-age,
They taught us how to manage,
Never send mothers to old-age home,
They made us to feel at-home,

Mother's affectionate love knows no bound,
Can't be matched with anything around,
I dedicate poems to Mother Lakshmi,
For my father she was Gruhalakshmi,

Although my parents are no more,
I remember them more and more,
Every mother, in herself, is legend,
Writing about her, there is no end. . . . . .

When employees work honestly without fear,

We can make ECIL flourish well,
If honesty vibrates from every cell,

Hope for ECIL reaching greater height,

VIGILANCE WEEK POEM
(Received First Prize in ECIL, Hyderabad)

Let’s be honest to the core,
Then comes God to our fore
When we live with all morals
We are sure to get laurels

Honest man has to be brave
Shouldn’t be afraid of even grave
Integrity has to be there in-built
Otherwise one feels sense of guilt

On noticing corruption blow the whistle
That’ll shape the situation like the chisel
Man may climb ladder on corruption
Final fall comes sure on disruption

While people prefer to follow loyalty
One should never compromise on morality
At times even God may excuse
That’s not reason for any misuse

ECIL would ensure growth every year
When employees work honestly without fear
To meet targets let’s be Agilent
Same time we should be vigilant

We can make ECIL flourish well
If honesty vibrates from every cell
These are words, not of mine
But straight from, Almighty’s Gold mine

DEEPAVALI SPARK

When we make the eyes of Orphans Sparkle,
The joy of everyone would reach the Pinnacle,
When we get the real Gyan from Bodhi,
We take the same to others like Jyothi,

When we make the face of Orphans Glow,
It would make sure our real happiness Flow,
When we are trying to chant Almighty’s Namavali,
Let us make sure orphans also celebrate Deepavali.

2. DATE: 06.06.06, Time: 17:00 Hrs

Venue: ECIL Car Parking Area, near ECIL main gate
Program: Note Book Donation to daily wage Employees’ Children

Many people called the date 06.06.06 as DEVIL’s DAY. We also agree 100% with them. Yes, at least this day, we should recognize the real devils inside us. There are 6 devils trying to rule us and they are nothing but the so called Arishad Vargas namely Kamam, Krodham, Moham, Lobham, Madam and Mascharyam. We should recognize them and keep them all under proper control, so that they don’t rule over us. The moment we serve the needy in a very selfless manner, all these devils are automatically controlled and they become our obedient servants. Hence in order to bring this fact to light, we celebrated the devil’s day by serving the needy people and given the devil it’s due.

We distributed Note Books to around 240 Children of the poor daily
wage contract employees working in ECIL. The response was very good and many members of Humanitarian Aid Foundation as well as non members participated in this Program due to the proximity of the venue of the Program and we made the members of HAF to distribute the Note Books to the beneficiaries.
